I am an instructional designer, educator, admissions administrator, and licensed occupational therapist. I received my doctorate from Boston University, where I completed advanced clinical practice in low vision rehabilitation with the New England College of Optometry and the Massachusetts Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired. As a certified aging-in-place specialist, I am equipped to address the challenges that clients across the lifespan face when it comes to aging safely and successfully in their homes. With experience in acute care, home health, and low vision rehabilitation, my clinical work is deeply rooted in client-centered care and evidence-based practice.
I also earned a Graduate Certificate in Instructional Design from Bowling Green State University and use these skills regularly in course and content development. My professional interests lie at the intersection of occupational therapy education, instructional design, and learner success. I am particularly interested in advancing hybrid and online education formats for graduate learners. I’ve developed and taught multiple graduate-level courses and am actively engaged in research exploring online learning and student success.
Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, DIY projects, traveling, and community involvement. I created this portfolio as a platform to share my work, reflect on my evolving practice, and connect with others.
